Cancer is now the number one killer of most domestic animals and animals
consumed for food. Having lost 4 animal companions to cancer, Deborah
became frustrated by the lack of concrete knowledge about the causes,
prevention and treatment of cancer in pets. Her book Why Is Cancer Killing
Our Pets? is a thorough and comprehensive guide to every aspect of the
disease in animals and is a result of her search for answers.
Readers will discover the many environmental, dietary and vaccine-related
culprits that may cause cancer in pets and they will learn preventive
measures that can be taken to safeguard their well-being.
Some of the Chapter headings convey the books scope: Environmental
Concerns, Vaccinations, Nutrition, The Role of Emotions, Conventional
Treatments, Alternative Therapies, Herbs, Vitamins, Homeopathy and Naturopathy.
A list of resources of all kinds and an exhaustive list of recommended
books is also included.
